France is not only one of the world’s most renowned wine-producing countries. With a history spanning thousands of years, wine has become an integral part of its culture, gastronomy and national identity.
From Bordeaux and Burgundy to Champagne and the Rhône Valley, each wine region tells its own story of land, people and tradition. These stories are what have made French wine one of the most diverse and fascinating wine cultures in the world.

In Vietnam, French wine has long been part of the wine journey of many enthusiasts. And this year, a new competition will offer the community an opportunity to challenge their knowledge and skills while exploring the world of French wine more deeply.
French Wine Contest 2026 will be held in Vietnam for the first time as part of Tastin’France.

The Organisers of French Wine Contest 2026
The competition is jointly organised by Business France and the Vietnam Sommelier Association (VSA).
Business France is the French national agency responsible for supporting the international development of the French economy. Its mission includes helping French businesses expand internationally, supporting exports and attracting foreign investment to France.
Joining Business France is the Vietnam Sommelier Association (VSA), a non-profit organisation dedicated to developing the next generation of sommeliers and contributing to the growth of wine culture and professional education in Vietnam.
Together, the two organisations are bringing a new platform to Vietnam’s wine community.
French Wine Contest 2026 is not simply a competition to identify those with the strongest knowledge. It is also an opportunity for participants to explore one of the world’s richest and most diverse wine cultures while connecting with a community that shares the same passion for French wine.
